Patient Voice would welcome your involvement; you are encouraged to join the Patient Reference Group. We will involve you by asking your opinions and would welcome any comments you wish to make about the service that is offered at The Oaks and also about the newsletter. We do not deal with personal complaints. Patient Voice will keep in touch with you about what is happening, sending you the newsletter by email. If you would like to join this group then please contact us by emailing patient.voice@nhs.net or asking for a form at reception.

What have we been doing?

1. The Spring edition of the newsletter is available in the waiting room. The next one will be at the end of June. We do hope that you will take time to pick one up from the waiting room or you can click on the link above to read it online.

You will find our newsletters in the rack on the wall by the doors to the doctors’ rooms or on the windowsill in the waiting room or at the desk. You can also ask at reception or you can also find it in the link at the top of this webpage.

2. Health events have always been an important part of our work. This year on July 11th our health event will focus on mental health. Planning is well advanced with a number of knowledgeable speakers and supporting organisations able to attend. Further details are in the newsletter.

3. We are maintaining our links with the area Clinical Commissioning Group and with representatives of other surgeries’ Patient Participation Groups. Committee members volunteer to attend relevant meetings.

Other notes

We heard about the changed arrangements for ordering repeat prescriptions. We hope this saves waste of medicines, which is the intention, and also hope the new system works well. Please let us know how you find it.

Your Feedback to us

Your feedback is important to us. Please use the link above and send the form to patient.voice@nhs.net Somebody from the group will then make contact with you. However, we cannot deal with personal complaints, which should be addressed to the Practice Manager.
